So, you want to get married!  And now, you're looking for a wedding officiant.  I am glad you found me.  I love weddings—I love performing wedding ceremonies, and I would love to be your wedding pastor.  

Twenty years from now, when you think of your wedding day, you should be able to look back and, with a smile, say, "That was awesome!" You should look at your photos, watch your video, and whisper, "Thank you, God, for the best day of my life." Oh, and you will want others to go away saying, "That was the coolest wedding I've ever been to."

That's what I want for you. Now, I know I'm not the one planning your wedding, so don't get me wrong. The truth is, 98% of the fun, the party, and the memory-making is up to you. But if I can do anything on my part to make your wedding memorable and fun, personal and real—well, that's my goal. I love being a part of weddings. They are some of the happiest moments in life.

Marriage, on the other hand, is tough work sometimes. I am sure you’ve heard it all. Most of it is probably true. I’ve been married for almost 30 years—yes, to the same woman. We’ve been to the brink a few times, but I would not trade this life for any other imaginable. There will be no other relationship in your life where you are better known, loved more deeply, or challenged to a higher standard.

With these thoughts as a framework, here’s what I like to do. I like to spend enough time with the couples to get to know them and their stories—well enough to be able to put together a wedding ceremony that is truly personal. I realize that we have not known each other for years, and I won’t fake it. However, I will honestly represent you and your desires on your wedding day. And I will do it in a way that honors you, your families, your faith, and your spirituality.
